Welcome to the website for No Kidding's Spokespeople.  If you are in the media, you have come to the right place.  If you are looking for your local chapter or are an individual with a comment or question, please go to the main website or the chapters list.

In their role as media spokespeople, Laura & Vincent provide the media with general information about No Kidding!  They are happy to be interviewed directly, but if you wish to speak to someone living in your city, they will do their best to accommodate you.  They are usually able to communicate via telephone or email, and appear in-person in Boston or New York. Although they are happy to speak about their personal experiences as a childfree couple, be aware that No Kidding! does not take official positions on matters of policy, law, or politics.  It is purely a social group.

The main website for No Kidding! International provides much of the general information needed about the organization. No Kidding! International is a non-profit social club created for singles and couples who have never had children, regardless of the reason.  The first chapter was started by Jerry Steinberg in Vancouver in 1984. We currently have over 80 chapters in the U.S., Canada, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Australia, and England.  Most of our chapters are in North America

The chapters of No Kidding host social events, usually once or more per month.  Events consist of barbeques, pool parties, sports events, dinners, plays, hiking, wine tastings, and countless other activities.  No Kidding! provides a place where people can meet other childless and childfree individuals.  Some people join to make friends with similar lifestyles, some simply enjoy social activities without discussing children.  No Kidding hosts a yearly convention, which has so far been held in Toronto, New Orleans, Seattle, and Philadelphia.  The 2007 Convention will be held in Las Vegas.

Laura and Vincent are childfree, meaning they have chosen not to have children.  They were married in 2005; Laura is a student at Harvard Law School. Vincent holds a Masters Degree in Psychology, and did an extensive statistical study of the childfree for his Master Thesis.  He had a vasectomy  in 2001 at age 23.  Vincent is also No Kidding's Director of Strategic Planning.
